Since I put in the long arm conversion and removed the sway bar, I had nothing preventing the axle from dropping out from under the truck, other than brake lines.

Not sure why they say "*** VAULT"

So...jacked up front of truck under frame until brake hose & driveshaft angle are at their limits...let down a bit, and measured.

Drilled out a hole through the upper coil mount and welded in a cut-off bolt from both ends; for the bottom mount, cut the head off a bolt, ground a flat along one edge, welded a washer in (for the nut to have something to bottom out against) and welded it all in. Took about 1 hour total.
