Try the key trick, and see if any codes come up. (on, (not start) off, on, off, on, very quickly. Codes will display on odometer.)

Disconnected battery, Reconnect. Drive. NOW
P0443 purge sol valve1 control ckt
P0753 1-2 shift sol circuit electric
P1765 trans 12volt supply relay control circuit

Back to why the relay won't pull in to supply 12 volts to tranny
Went up to pick the brains of the dodge dealer service guys....bunch of ****. We start work for $95/hr. Of course, No Help.
Your thoughts.

P0753 Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circs

This, with the 1765 code.... is interesting. If the trans shifts normally thru the first three gears, that implies you are indeed getting 12 volts TO the trans, as that is where the governor pressure solenoid also gets its power. If the trans is in limp mode, then need to verify that you are indeed getting that 12 volts to the trans. If you aren't, need to find out where it disappears.

Take a quick look at the PCM connectors. Make sure they are all clean, and tight. They tend to corrode, and give you some strange problems.

My search shows P0753 is a 1-2 shift sol.

I am not in limp mode. Drives fine, just no OD.

Back to the tranny guy. He said there was no 12 volts to red wire which controls the OD to kick in. I do not have it because the relay doesn't pull in. Hence the P1765 code.

What wire color do you believe the 12 volts comes in on?

Does the gov pr sol use the "same" 12 volts as the od solenoid or is it brought in separate to energize the od solenoid.

Drawing at straws here
Thanks

The Red (pin 1 or 87 on the relay end) supplies 12v to the OD and TCC solenoids. The Orange (pin 2) provides the 5v supply for the gov. pressure solenoid.

All the 12v stuff in the trans gets its power from the same source. If the trans shifts fine, then at least to GPS is getting power. May have an internal wiring problem?

Code definition depends on where you get your information from. That's the definition I got from the faq section here. We have no 1-2 shift solenoid in our trucks.

The code translation came from ODB Codes.com

Back at it again. Took a siesta for the winter. I had a gentleman put a good code reader on it today and as he kept searching he said my fluid was -16*, hence a problem with the coolant sensor. This is a thermistor in the plug of the GPS. Is it in the sensor or in the harness? Both have been replaced. Could a low reading come as a result of a broken wire or not?

Think I would start by tracing the gray/black wire, from the trans, to the PCM. (or, simply see if you are getting any kind of voltage reading at the PCM.)
