Default Want to get tow mirrors for my 1500, possible?

So i am planning on getting a set of front and rear steel bumpers and black wheels and get rid of the 2" coils i just bought for a set of 3" coils and i wanted, if possible, to get the O.E style tow mirrors that came on the the diesels i think. pretty sure that they would mount up fine since the body is the same but i have the defrost mirrors, would that be an issue?

but to each his own. Its your truck do whatever you want to it

if i towed a big a trailer a lot i wouldnt have a problem dropping the dough. I just have a flatbed utility trailer. cant even remember the size atm lol. i have hauled an s10 and a wrx on it though

What exactly is your point? You're clogging up a legitamite tech question offering no help to the OP whatsoever. He didn't ask what you think or what you do with your truck.

OP, purchase a set of heated tow mirrors with the 6 pin connector and they should hook right up. Make sure whichever set you buy comes with the support brackets or they will shake at highway speed. They look like this:

I found eBay to have the best prices, you should be able to grab a set for under $200 shipped

I have tow mirrors on my 1500. 1500's/2500's have the exact same body style. I like the look of the mirrors when you have bigger tires, they are handy when towing frequently and I bought mine because I needed to buy a new mirror anyways. I bought mine off eBay for less than $120 (not powered).
