Default Throttle Valve Cable Replacement? '01 2500

I've got an '01 2500 like the title says and the plastic clip that attached the tv cable to the throttle body snapped off in an attempt to adjust the cable. I've been unsuccessful finding a replacement cable thus far. Where exactly can I find the appropriate cable, and is it a relatively simple replacement?

I'm a bit confused... the MOPAR Overstock site is a bit confusing... Is this the actual cable I'm looking for? As far as I can tell, it is the actual cable, but then it says something about product assemblies and throttle controls... I don't feeling like spending $45 just to get something that isn't what I want. http://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/p...2104030AD.html

Has anyone done a replacement before? I've just gotten my new cable, but have no idea of the process for replacing it under the truck. Is it a simple, pull out/snap-in job?

it is pretty simple..

unhook from the lever on the throttle body, push in the tabs on the housing to get it to back out of the mount connected to the throttle body

crawl underneath, pop the piece out of the ball stud on the transmission lever, push tabs to slide the cable out of the mount..

look above the transmission and see if there is any clips holding the cable in place, if so unhook them and pull it up from the engine bay.

Make sure the new one goes in the correct way (the same as old, unless someone changed it before like my truck)... straight down the engine bay housing and crosses over the top of the transmission... try to keep it from pushing/resting on the firewall. hook up connectors and set the adjustment.

the adjustment is pretty critical, very very close tolerance.. the info for adjustment is in the FSM.. that it pretty simple as well although it might take a few adjustments... main thing to look for is hittin 3rd gear at 30mph'ish under light to moderate throttle.

After taking a look at it earlier I found that I overestimated the complexity of the replacement. I found exactly what you just told me. I was unable to get the end off the stud, nor could I get the plastic tab out of the metal slide. I'll be back at it, properly equipped, tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll be able to get it out. Thanks for the reply!
