Default 94 dodge gauge specs?

whats needed to run a gauge cluster from a 94/95? and can it be wired to run without a computer? as in a de computerized 12v

I think the tach is the only thing that requires signal from the PCM.

is the any way to run the a tach with out a pcm...

I don't know. Would have to find out what the cluster expects for a tach signal.....

Experiment. Plug an o-scope into the tach wire, and see what kind of signal it is putting out.

Yeah, I know, not many folks have scopes any more..... Might contact Dodge Cares, and see if they can come up with anything for ya. DC Canada actually has a rep that's a member here.....

do you think the signal would be diff or the same, from a 5.9 mag, and a 12v but both being 94 95 models obd1...

The both use the same cluster..... so, signal should be the same. After all, it's just telling the cluster how far to move the needle.

95 dodge for v6 v8 and ctd, frequency is 100hz and indication is 3000rpm +- 200

the cps is the same from 90 to 96 on ctd, any idea if the pcm changes the signal from the cps to send to the tach....
