Yep. Would need the wiring harness, and PCM for the V-8 as well.

Might consider "freshening up" the 5.2 from the donor, and drop it in anyway.

I'm going to yank the 5.2 out and slowly clean it up and replace various little things on it until it's needed, on the little 3.9 I wonder if the map sensor or the fuel pressure regulator could be to blame for my idle issue, I guess it wouldn't hurt to jack the bed up and put a new fuel pump assembly in her. The guys at my local advance auto parts are starting to love seeing me...

Check fuel pressure before just replacing the pump.... that's about a 200 and some change exercise. Don't bother with an Air-Tex pump..... you will be replacing it again soon.

yea air-tex is hit or miss on if they will last or not. i had luck on my ram but other did not. goto autozone or whatever, and ask them to borrow the fuel pressure tester, and when they want you to put the fee down for it just talk them into letting you do it in the parking lot right outside the door, less work for them and u dont gotta put up any money. i borrowed the compression tester once and it blew the hose in half on the last cylinder i tested with it. luckily i still got the fee back from them.
