I assume if you give it gas it will stay running , just not idle ? My only thought is the fuel sync is not right on the mark . These things are super picky about it too . Did you have it sync'd since the rebuild ? There's no other way than with a DRB

Um if you hold the gasyou can still hear it cutting out bUT it does stay running. .if you drive it and when you stomp on the gas at 3,000 rpm's it falls on its face...and no I never had anything synced

Same thing just happened to a guy on my jeep forum , no idle , no high rpm , new 5.9 engine . He got it close enough to run , but, not properly . Trip to the dealer and he's all good to go .

I'd be real surprised if fuel sync is not your issue .

Need to be able to plug a scanner into it, and read the data stream from cold, to when it starts acting up.

Just out of idle curiosity, did you reset the PCM after changing them? Not just clearing codes..... disconnect the battery, turn on the headlights, turn off the lights, hook the battery back up.
