97 ram 2500 v10 4x4 info?

I recently bought this truck and was wondering if there's any big information about these trucks I should know. It has 137000 miles on it and I bought it to pull my horse trailer. I don't know anything about them. The streering wheel makes a very light noise when I am turning to the right and only to the right, anyone know what that could be?

Is it a scraping noise? Or a thump? Might be the clockspring, or, may just need the rock solid ram steering fix.
