I think "Sport Only" applies if made after May 30th, 1998.

Okay so here is another question. Recently after I start the truck and wait a few minutes the truck starts to idle rough and make a sucking noise. If I hit the gas it picks back up and then runs normal for a bit. Going down the road it runs great only when it's sitting it does this. It's got new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, TPS sensor. I just changed the tps sensor today being I thought that was the problem since it pulled a code for it, bit still has the problem. Need help

How old is your O2 sensor? Fixed the plenum yet?

Sounds like bad o2 sensors. Get the factory NTK from rockauto.com

I never would of thought that just o2s would cause this. The truck does not have a cat, the previous owner cut it off. So looks like it's time to put one back on and get both new o2s.

Front O2 plays the biggest role in how the engine runs. The cat isn't actually "required" to make things work right... its just an emissions piece. Put a non-fouler on the rear O2, and the PCM will be happy. (My cat is punched out, no non-fouler on the rear O2, but, the PCM has never whined about it.)
