Default Help!!! 1997 ram 2500 360 lack of power

I just bought a 1997 ram 2500 360 4x4 auto with 207000 miles on it. Truck has a skyjacker 5.5 in lift, 3" body and 2.5" Susp. It has 315/75 R16's tires and it's a complete dog.. And i mean there's slight inclines around my house on parts of a main highway that i go a back way to avoid because it's a flatter backway. Now should I assume the engine is just tired and replace or is it the lift and tires, or plenum gasket,or???? It has dana 60's under it with 4.11 gears. I would think this should be snappy low end??

Please help or guide me

oh and the exhaust was replaced with a glasspack and a short tailpipe or downspout under the center of truck. Could it be a back pressure loss causing it to feel like a dog?

Have you checked the plenum or checked for a clogged cat converter?

Remove the front 02 sensor. Everything you need to know is in the plenum sticky.

It's called the "End-all, be-all plenum thread". First thread in this section. Right at the top. Or search "plenum".

With 207K if it's the oem converter it needs to be changed. Change plugs cap-rotor wires if needed. Check fuel pressure and compression. Do you have any codes?
