Exclamation Suspension

Looking to do a suspension job on my 1998 1500. I had a rough country system on it, but I'm looking to go back in the stock direction. Not really looking to spend a lot of money in it because I'm currently buying a house. I've found a couple options on eBay, but really wanted to get other opinions.

How much lift do you have, and why do you want to get rid of it?

Welcome to DF!

Right now I have a 3 inch lift. I'm just looking to change it up a little bit plus I'm turning it into my farm truck.

Thanks

Shouldn't be all that much different with only 3" lift.... are there spacers, or lift springs in front? Did they do anything at all to the rear??

might as well just get smaller tires, that lift will accommodate some farm conditions if your going off road a lot id leave it on.

Well, I just purchased a set of SENSEN shocks for it from APX. We'll see how it goes. Definately not going to trash my current setup in case these turn out to be junk. From the reviews they seem to be pretty decent.

I'm really not one to go lower, but with the wife and the kids hauling stuff around in it I figured it would be a little easier for them loading stuff in it being lower.

I've got coils in the front and spacers in the rear at this point in time.

For a farm truck, think I would be tempted to keep the additional ground clearance, and slightly larger tires....

Update!!!!

Finally got these SENSEN parts installed a few weeks ago and they are probably the best that I have had in a good while. These make the ride feel like my 1998 is brand new. If you're looking for some low cost replacements I would HIGHLY recommend these. I found these on eBay from APX Auto Parts, but later on found out that they also have their own website, apxautoparts.com, which I would probably have bought from first being that I truly dislike going through sites like eBay. I would much rather deal directly with a person.
