Default PCM Connector

2000 Ram 2wd, 318 auto.

The far driver's side connector on the PCM has the locking clip damaged. In higher temperatures, this causes the connection to lose contact with the pins on the PCM, resulting in the infamous "no bus" signal.

Is it possible toreplace the clip only, and what shall I ask for at the parts store?

I don't think the parts store will have that. I believe the clip is part of the connector and it catches on the pcm itself. I working off of memory so i could be wrong but you will either need to replace the plug or pcm. You can use silicone or a hot glue gun to keep it in place but removing it may be a problem.
