Wouldn't be surprise if the cat wasn't plugging up. You can bet your O2 sensors are WAY overdue for replacement.

if you don't have emissions testing in your area, or inspections, I would be real tempted to have the cat fall off as well.... Or, at least, become a hollow shell of its former self.

Given the mileage, might wanna consider doing timing chain and gears while you are doing the plenum. It's only a half-dozen or so more bolts, and about 75 bucks in parts.

As money is a problem the timing chain is waiting and until I'm changing the water pump as well. I planned on putting a magna flow cat from summit with Gibson super truck muffler and summit headers and new O2 sensors. This is all due to the exhaust blowing holes just behind the cat and the truck being super loud.

Anyone suggest a specific chain set? I was looking at Hughes as they have a double roller and noticed it has degree offsets?

Several folks make 'em. I picked one up at the local parts store. SA Gear, I think. Works great. Double roller is definitely the way to go. Stick with the .25 chain pitch. Doesn't need to have multiple settings..... just install it straight up.

I've got the Mopar Double Roller Chain in mine. Before installing it, I was able to compare it to a SA double roller. Looked the same to me. Go with the double roller at Advance Auto, or your local auto parts store.

Ok so I read on another post you need a puller for the harmonic balancer. I have a steering wheel puller is that fine? And should I replace the balancer? I haven't checked if it's messed up. How would I know?

Don't think a steering wheel puller will work.... but, you can try it......

If the rubber ring is squirting out around the outer ring of the balancer, replace it, otherwise, it's probably fine.

"Kenne Bell company says they did extensive research and testing on their in-house DynoJet 148C, and recommend the "V" design NGK ZFR5F11 (stock number 2262, resistor inside 4,000 ohms) for non-supercharged,
and ZFR6F11 (one heat range cooler) for blown 5.2/5.9 Dodges.
Quoted from another website I ran across googling spark plugs to decide which is my best bet

if anyone can help im trying to figure out axle ratios. im curious if they have been changed. i was told no though. also built in michigan how does my balancer look? has a few spots around that almost feel like they protrude a little more than the rest of it but otherwise nothing felt funny on it? anyone know whether the lightweight pulley is worth its money?

these numbers mean anything? front axle looks like it says 3.54 on this tg?
