Default Plenum, Timing & More Progress Thread

Alright, so I'm creating this thread so while I'm outside with my phone I can post pictures and show how its going and hopefully I can post a quick question or someone can point out a mistake I made before it goes to far.

My truck is currently in the transmission shop and over the past three weeks and they start working on it tomorrow, meaning I should have it back next week. I have been pouring threw forums and buying parts, I'll post a pic of the stuff I've gotten down below. The main "parts" I am putting on the truck however is a Hughes Fel-Pro Plenum kit, Comp Cams TC, Bosch 4-Port Injectors, Mellings High-Flow oil pump, new O2 sensors, IAC, and the others, some new coolant parts and an oil change along with a few new hoses.

So I've been researching forever and I think I have everything I could possibly need for this to go off without a hitch. As long as I don't break anything, but I don't think I will. I'll be throwing a coat of engine enamel over everything as well.

The computer doesn't go in the engine compartment. It wouldn't like the heat.

Do you have the little bypass hose, that goes from the water pump, to the intake? Got a new water pump?

Hose came with the Hughes kit, water pump is still pretty new.

They got my truck in the transmission shop today. Hope to have it back by the end of this week to early next week.

Once it's in there, provided they don't need any strange parts, shouldn't take 'em more than a day or three to get it done.

Hope you like your fresh trans.

Done, day and a half. Pick it up tomorrow or Friday. Do I need to let it break in any?

Don't think so, but, ask when you pick it up.
