There is an additive you need so the paint remains somewhat flexible on plastic parts. Your local paint supply store should be able to clue you in.

I have used SEM for doing a color change for interior plastics. They have a lot of different products so its best to visit a local auto paint store that carries their stuff and explain what you are doing. You probably can use an automotive paint with a flex additive and be fine.
