Default Fixed plenum. Still smokes?

It smells like an old outboard boat motor now with the cat gone and it still smokes a little. Any ideas? Runs smooth and accelerates properly.

It's a gray smoke. It blew black smoke before the plenum fix and wouldn't run. Now it runs good but smokes a little

Grey is probably oil. How much have you ran it since putting it back together?

Maybe an hour tops? The PCV valve isn't blowing to much so it's not that. It's got new air temp sensor and water temp sensors.

Run some seafoam thru it. Let it clean itself out some. See what happens.

Dealer, or aftermarket PCV valve?

Original PCV valve. I ran seafoam after I fixed the plenum. I'm just kinda hoping it's not rings... I ran about a quarter bottle. Should I try running more?

How many miles on it? What weight oil? Sounds like rings or valve seals.

145,000 with 10w30 full synthetic. It's had full synthetic since before I got it. Never smoked till plenum blew.

I ran a whole bottle thru mine.

Of course, I still use oil badly too. Mine doesn't smoke though...... no puddles on the ground. The oil just 'disappears'. Got a little better after the plenum fix, but, I highly suspect rings as well.

Damn. After I fixed the plenum too. I'll try more seafoam. If no fix I guess I'm gunna be truckless. I can try a cylinder pressure check right? That would tell me?
