Dropped pan on transmission to replace the pressure solenoid switch and this dropped on the floor. Anyone have any ideas. I need my truck.

Part of the snap ring that holds the O/D unit together. You can *probably* get away with not worrying about it....... probably....... Need to drop the O/D unit to fix it..... Might chat with a trans shop nearby, and see what they suggest.

That's a business card for your transmission shop of choice.

Default Trans seems to work fine

Hey, Hey you. I put everything back together minus the mystery trans part and the original issue with it not downshifting cleared up, it seemed to run fine. I couldn't feel any issues, I might have gained an extra part but hopefully Dodged a huge bullet and avoided having to re-add the local transmission god on my life insurance and bank accounts.
