Default Misfire monitor

When the misfire monitor goes complete does that mean there is no misfire? I'm trying to help out a friend with an issue I think we have fixed just wanting to be sure.

I think by 'monitor ready', the PCM now understands how to interpret which cylinder is misfiring, if any.....

If it isn't passing enough air, it can cause stalls, or low idle, but, that's about it. Rough idle is going to be fuel, or ignition.

Does it idle rough as soon as you start it up, or, does it take a couple minutes to show up?

Clear codes, reset the PCM, disconnect the front O2, and drive it for a couple days. (will set an O2 code.....) See if the misfires go away.
