Would being able to rotate the driveshaft from 12 o clock to about 1:30 be to much rotational play? I cant remember how much play it had before I took it off.

That does seem a bit excessive...... Pull the cover, see where all the slop is coming from. Might just be worn spiders.

Here is a video I took of trying to show the amount of slop when rotating it. I just put the cover on yesterday buy havnt filled with oil yet

Ah, that's not bad at all. There is always going to be some slop there, that looks fine to me.

I think a 1/16th to an 1/8th of a turn or so is to be expected, even with all new parts, much more than that, and you need to see where its sloppy. If its just the spiders, it is prolly fine, if it's pinion to gear clearance, that needs to be addressed.
