Default front diff drain plug

anyone know where to buy a new front diff drain plug? i rounded mine out and cant get it out and need a new one. also any ideas on how to get the rounded one out?

If it's ruined, drill it and use an easy out. Flush the diff out after.

ok thanks i need to replace the gasket anyway to im gonna take the cover off first. any idea where to buy a new plug?

I think it's just a typical pipe plug. Most any hardware store should have 'em. Take the cover with you, to make sure you get the right one.

Oh. I didn't know that. So like home depot or something should have them?

Large pair of channel locks you can get some good squeeze leverage and torque on it. Quicker and easier than drilling

I've tryed that and many other ways. Its in there good and is rusted. I have to change the gasket anyway so il just use my easy out and pray it works.

While you have the cover off, hit it with chems from the BACK. (inside) they should penetrate nicely that way.
