Default 1996 dodge ram 2500 5.9l gas cruise control problem

Ive got a 96 ram 2500 thats having some cruise control issues. The light turns on on the steering wheel and stays on but it wont set the speed when selected. Ive replaced the servo and checked all electrical connections with no signs of damage. I replaced the vacuum line going from the servon to the base of the intake so i know thats not the issue though i wish it was. I tried raising the brake pedal while drive and hitting the cruise with no results. I then tried the clutch then the clutch and the brake with still no results. All my fuses and relays havr been replaced.

Im stuck on this one. Anyone have any ideas?

The buttons on the steering wheel just modify a signal to the PCM, the PCM then controls the cruise servo. Sounds like you have already checked over most of the system, grab the service manual from here, and dig thru the wiring diagrams, verify first, that the PCM is actually GETTING the signals from the cruise switches. Take it from there.

Silly question but have you made, sure that the cable is connected to the throttle body? Mine came off on me on day and it took me awhile to locate it

It doesn't sound like your brake switch (like mine was) but here is some more info on what I did.
