2000 Passenger side suicide door will NOT Open
I apologize if this has been discussed which it probably has. My drivers side suicide door is stuck, I took it apart yesterday and found that the rods to the top and bottom where both off on the side handle, and the cable to the inner handle, not sure if maybe someone else has been in there or not. Anyways the bottom latch is completely seized up, does anybody have any ideas besides kicking it? Arrrrggghhh

WD-40 is a lubricant, and water displacer. It does nothing to free up rusted parts.
You can buy PB Blaster at your local parts store. It will actually break down the rust, and free up stuck parts.
You may have to try and pry the interior door panel away enough, so that you can get a reasonable shot at the latch, then, just spray liberally. wiggling the door will help it work itself into the right spots.
Bottom rod probably broke because the latch was seized...... You may have to pull the back seat, so you can take the interior door panel off, so you can get your hands/tools down to the latch. Yeah, it's a lotta fun.

Yup sounds like a blast can't think of anything else I would rather be doing LOL, I will try and find something comparable, haven't seen PB blaster here but will check (I am in Canada). I think taking out the back seat is a good idea : ) thanks for that! Being able to actually get your hands in there will help immensely.
