Default high idle when in park

Im having a problem of when i put the truck in park, the RPMs shoot up to around 1300.....recently i was having a rough idle problem and replaced all the sensors around the intake, (IAC, TPS) just to figure out my problem was the O2 sensor. could one of these sensors i replaced be the problem? if i start it (cold) and give it a little gas while in park, the RPMs stay kinda high then it will drop back down, but if i go off and drive, and when i get to my destination and put it in park, the rpms shoot up and the only way to get them to go back down, is wait a few minutes or shut off the truck and restart it. But if the rpms are high and i put it into any gear (reverse or drive) they go back down to normal.... Any ideas? its a 2000 dodge ram 5.9 magnum gas, with 136,000 miles...

Did you reset the PCM after changing them all? (just disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes.)

I did disconnect it, but just for a few seconds... Should I try it for 15 min?

I replaced my iac without resetting the pcm. When i started it up it idled around 1500 and slowly dropped down to normal. Did yours act this way or did it stay at higher rpm? It's a good idea to reset it for the tps though.

It stays high for a few minutes then it just sunddenly drops down to normal idle.. So I need to disconnect the battery for about 15 min? Just the negative terminal, or both positive and negative?
Thanks

Disconnect one OR the other, no need to do both. Then turn on your light switch, this will discharge any residual voltage. Leave it this way for 10 minutes or so, reconnect battery (turn off your lights too) and take a test drive.

I did that earlier but didn't turn on the lights, and it's still doing it... Another thing I just noticed is when it's idling normally, (so to speak) the rpm needle bounces. Just goes up and down between 2 of the dashes on the gauge cluster... Should I disconnect battery and turn on the light switch and then see what happens?

It sounds you have reset the PCM. Something else is probably going on here...
