Default Killing the battery

Need help with electricity.. Have 95 ram 3500 that kills the battery while parked. Any ideas? After watching a great video about parasitic shorts That is posted on this site, I tested the 30a fuel pump fuse socket in fuse box under the hood and found it to be hot when the ignition switch is off.. Is this supposed to be off or does it continually stay hot?

How long does it need to be parked to kill the battery? V10 or Cummins(1or 2 batteries)?

How old is the battery? Did you have it load tested to see if it's any good?
