Question 2000 rpm and power stops but not engine

So i got a 1996 ram 1500 4×4 5.9 liter and she is hiting 2000 rpm and no more power can go as fast as i want just only 2000 rpm so its deffently not the transmision or engine i replaced the o2 sensor that came up on the scan and she is still doing the same thing i am a little tight on cash as to moving a few provinces away and on ny last two weeks of work so i am stressing out about spending more money thats unesesary so i am seeing if anyone else has had this problem or knows whats rong i was starting to think the MAP sensor but that 160 more and might not be the problem thank u any and all imput will be much appreciated

Remove your front O2 sensor, from the pipe. Drive it around and see if it's better. May be a plugged cat. And check your plenum.

It dose have good flow threw the tail pipe as well and do u think it might just need a computer reset after the new o2 sensor is installed

Unplug the O2 sensor, and see if it runs any better. If it doesn't, physically remove it from the exhaust, and try again. See what happens.
