Default Dumping exhaust

ive got a 2001 RAM 1500 sport with an 8 foot bed and i came out of my apartments a few nights ago and some a**hole must have caught his leg or something on my exhaust coming out the side and kicked it hard enough it hit the back tire. When i got under it i noticed this sorry sack of **** kicked it so hard the welds broke. I was going to replace the system anyways but probably just going to dump it in the meantime but i dont know the best place to cut it off. is it best to cut it before or after the muffler? Texas does have emissions testing but i have an entire year before i have to get it inspected.

After for sure or it will be annoying to drive. I have a 45 bend from O'Reilly right after a thrush welded muffler before the rear tire. Nice rumble but not obnoxious.
