Default What is this?

This is right behind the transmission pan mounted on the frame. There are two tubes that are like brake line, with a rubber connector to some sort of sensor maybe? Are these vacuum lines or something else?

Thank you in advance for enlightenment.

You have a four wheel drive truck. Those are the vacuum lines that run up to the front axle. They lock the front axle together for ya.

+1 Those are the vacuum lines run from the front diff to a device called the central axle disconnect (CAD) which run from there to the switch on the transfer case.

Thank you guys. Figured they were vacuum for something, but it was not apparent to me by that block they run to.

Wouldn't hurt replacing them. When I did my clutch last spring, one elbow snapped right off because it was so brittle. Got some new elbows at store and replaced it. Any vacuum leak can cause problems for these engines and drivetrains.
