Interesting. Along with the TPS, I will have to give this a try.

I've always noticed my Dodge ran kind of stumbly. If I'm off the brake, and not applying throttle it will jerk and shake a little.

light throttle cruise also is rough.. Acceleration is fine though. weird.

Between the trans failing, ball joints, leaky front dif, 02 sensors, crappy steering, and a few things I've forgot - this will be the last Dodge I own.

I had the same problem and changed the throttle postioning sensor and it cured it.

i had the exact same problem, i replaced the tps and had the pcm reprogrammed and my truck runs really good, now if only i could find a donor diesel w/ a 5spd or 6spd manual.....

the tps normally fixes the surge, that's why the title on this thread is "another fix..." and i offered up another fix.
