RE: Time for new headers
I am running a set of the Pacesetter headers and have had no problems as of yet. If you order them look them over very closely for weld issues. Cover the collector end with tape and in a dark room shine a pocket flashlight down each tube. Check very closely for light leaks. If you can see any send them back. I did this and found no issues with the set and the outside welds looked good so I mounted them. Also I wrapped them before putting them on to reduce under the hood temperatures. Sound really good.

Based on all of the threads I have been going through, I have decided to pony up the extra cash and get a set of Gibsons. They sound like a solid buy.

What about the ebay specials? I'd wrap mine so I don't care if they are coated or anything.
