Well, I was bored yesterday, so I painted my calipers. I used the Duplicolor brush on kit, did about 5 coats. I think the red looks good with everything else that is red upfront (incuding my new diff cover that is on it's way). I also have a silver "Mopar" caliper sticker that should be arriving any day too. Anyway, as you can see, I have too much time on my hands.
Ya, I considered that, but I always liked how it looked regardless. Around here, it seems like the ricers are into doing other colors, like blue, yellow, and even airbrushed crazy stuff. Red is kinda the standard though, and I think it goes well with my other red stuff.. It was a cheap mod (kit costs about $18, and about 3 hours of my time).

I have high temp flat black that is going on the drums. Probably not this weekend though.
I've seen red drums, and didn't like it at all, so i'm just going black, which will look better then rust.

Looks good. Only problem I found with doing my calipers 5yrs ago was that it made the rest of the suspension look like crap. I wouldnt use a sticker, I would hand paint it if I were you. Chances are wont last too long otherwise.

For the rear drums I went with the black 'hammered' finish spray from Home Depot. Rustoleum I believe it was. Was surprised how well it held up to heat. Unless of course my rear adjusters aren't working and there is no heat! haha

I'm thinking of doing drums and calipers either black or aluminum, haven't decided yet - anybody getgood results from high-temp paint? Brands?

I'm going to be using the Duplicolor 1200 degree high temp primer and paint (flat black). Will post when I get it done. My drums will need a little more prep work then the calipers did, so I need to plan some time to do it.
