Me touch wood never, when I went out a smoked them I stood on it for so long the tranny would shift up. This truck has no balls when it up shifted. The gauges where going nuts up and down up and down lol. Than I got new tires. Now and than I come around a turn in the rain a drop the hammer and leave smoked behind me as I pull out of the parking lot form work. The one night right before my buddy quite I stooped in the drive way and gave it hell. I want gears. 4.10 or 4.56.

everything started as a bearing noise under the hood... so i started looking for the source and found that the idle pulley had small play than the tensiner wasnt working right and when i was checking the rest of the pulleys i found that the w/p had aloottt of play.... so i decided to replace all that and after that when i was in the middle of replcing the w/p i saw that the timing chain cover gasket was leaking a lil .... and now im in the middle of that ... took the cover off and inspecting it saw that there is cracks behind the water pump housing thse cracks look normal but im just gona replace it......better safe than sorry.... right before winter
