Default tires and axles

right now im ridin on 35x12.5x17in BFG MT's.. they work great, but once i get a little more money saved up.... im going to stick a little more lift on her and slap some 37's or 38's on it... would stock axles hold up? most of the driving with be pavment mixed off-road every weekend... any insight? not really fimilar with dodge axles

right now the rear is stock, front has a 3in leveling kit... i was told its runnin 4.10 gears havent really had time to take a peak at the axle code, will prolly get it in the morning.... BTW is a 01 sport w/off road package

your fine with 4.10s , if you are not happy with that gear run 4.56

haha ya i had 4.10's runnin in my ranger on 35's.. i;d prolly upgrade to 4.56 or 4.88's...just more worried about the axle shafts etc....

For 38s you're gonna wanna run 4.88s (if you have a 9.25 rear end) or 5.13s (if you have a Dana 60/70/80 rearend). 4.88s are as low as you can go with the 9.25 in 1500s

yea i will be too in a month or so but 38's on 4.10's i think is too much. i think it can be done but major loss in gas mileage and power..
