1998, 5.9L... as i said before i know nothing about cars/trucks... I bought the truck about 3 years ago... and havent really done anything but oil changes to it until a few weekends ago when I did the tune up. and the thermostat

Ok, so this morning the truck throws a check engine light...

I go over to the mechanic and ask them if they can pull the code for me. he says he will have to charge me for an hour and a half worth of labor... so I said never mind and went over to the other parts store in town and got an OBD2 scanner.

the code is P0132 "O2 Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 1)"

anyone have anymore information on this?

02 Is shot...bank 1 sensor 1 is the sensor in front of the cat or on that cat needs replaced....

should I go a head and replace all 4 of them while I'm at it?

ok so I got an O2 sensor and I got under the truck and I could only find 2 sensors... the service manual says that I should have 4?

the pipes coming off the headers meet at a Y at the cat. and then its a straight pipe back to the muffler. there is one sensor that appears to be on the cat right where the pipes meet. and the other is behind the cat on the single pipe.

am I missing something here or are there really only 2 sensors? if so what one do I change? the one at the cat or the one after?

ok maybe I read the SM wrong... or maybe that dosent apply to the 98?

so if it is Sensor 1 Bank 1 it is the one befor the cat?
