I used the APC breather that Advance sells in various colors. It just slides right into the 90 degree angle thing on the valve cover. I will get a picture. Hold on.

Don't mind the blue wire loom. I would have rather used black probably but I had some blue in the garage I used on the Honda so I figured I minus well just use up what I had.

I used something similar to your blue breather, except mine is chrome and just pushes down into the valve cover. Gives it a nice old school look. Sorry, but no pics at this time.

My breather is a Spectre brand, bought at Advance Auto or Auto Zone.....forget which store it was. I have the part # written down at home but I am at work right now. I can post it later tonight when I get home. Here's the pic of it.

I got it from Advance Auto but you might find it cheaper other places. It works fine idk what would be different about 01's and 99's. I did have a bracket custom made because I didn't like the cheapo one it came with. It's a Edlebrock Pro Flow air cleaner.

I'd like to do this mod. What did you use to bend the bolt? Any special tools, or did you just use two pliers and muscle it?

The kind of air cleaner I'm using you don't have to bend a S-Bolt thats only for the round style ones where the bolt needs to come through the top. The kind I'm using comes with a bracket you can easily bend with pliers maybe by hand. I found it flimsy and not wanting to stay bent like I wanted it to so I went to a local machine shop and had them make me one like I needed. They charged $30 and I don't think I could bend it if I wanted to without a lot of heat or a machine. It's really heavy duty and I like it much more.

Others have gotten the stock bracket to work though I just thought it was too flimsy.
