Wow man gotta say tat chevelle sounded nice, but when you put the hammer down i have to say that you owned it . Truck has a nice roar behind it, with speed to match. Good on ya!

Sounded pretty good untill it misfired, what are you using to control the motor? How big a cam and do you have the valve train to support those rpms?
that wasnt a misfire that was it hitting the rev limiter once because it didnt shift. I let off of it when it did. I have a bit of adjustment to do still. It doesnt want to shift in drive at wot yet.

Harland sharp 1.6 stud mounted, comp magnum pushrods, guide plates, 5249862 mopar lifters, 4876062 mopar springs, etc. No problems handling 6k, it spins to 6300 no issue, just doesnt make power up there. I like to shift it at 5750.
how do u got 500 extra lbs i thought your interior was gutted
Im gonna guess its ken. My interior was out last year too, as was everything else on the truck. I also didnt have an extra hood in the back either. I figgure it at about 460 lbs more weight from what I have written down when I weighed it last year.
