I have one as well.
Always wondered why the hose was in sections...

I'm about to do a coolant flush because my coolant is old, rusty, and clear orange (eek). And I don't want a cracked block when it hits -20 like my mom's poor truck.

I don't have a waterhose, or even an outside faucet for one, so i'll be bringing gallon jugs of tap water from the house to flush the system. It's tap water, but the source is either a well or Kootenai river. (Both are clean up here)

oren, lowes sells an adapter for a water hose that you can connect to your kitchen faucet, or the bathroom faucet. if you get that and a cheap 50' hose then you can park by a window and do the flush there. its nice to have that adapter on there too because it doesn't have an aerator so you'll have more pressure when you wash dishes or get a glass of water.

No Lowes within 100 miles, but there is an ACE.
Something to think about. I'm still debating how I want to do it, or even if I do. I'm going to price the procedure at shops and compare that to antifreeze and supplies I would need...

ace ought to have the hose adapter for your faucet. it would be handy to have since you don't have an outside hose hookup.
