I don't mind if others don't use half proper punctuation or whatever. As long as you do it enough so others can understand your message.

The 318 will last longer and more reliable but you can still get amazing power out of one. In the mopar magazine there was a 71 cuda with a 318 twin turbo'd pushing almost 600hp with only 8 psi. The 360 is a great performance motor and is capable of over the 1000hp range easily. I disagree with the whole cubic inches war. For example a 5.9 vs 5.7 you build them both n/a the 360 will win because of the wedge heads but if you go forced the 5.7 is way better because of the hemi heads. Why do you think a 426 hemi will eat a 440 alive if they are both forced induction it's the heads. Hemi's are meant for forced induction and wedges are n/a or sprayed engines they can be forced and create power but hands down the hemi is better for forced. Also you can get hemi heads for 273, 318, 340, 360s now. I was gonna build a 318 into a power house but i ended up with a 360 which i'm gonna turn into a 410 stroker twin turbo'd. If you want to be different build that 318 into a monster.

Since this thread was brought back from the dead I may as well respond to this.

You've obviously never driven both, the 4.0 has WAY more low end torque than the 3.slow. 165 Ft/Lbs @3600 RPM VS 225 Ft/Lbs @ 2400 RPM...
