Bought my truck a while ago and got a build sheet for it and all that.. The truck came with a 5.9 in it but today i found out that the guy i bought it from dropped a 5.2 in it, he said it wont make a difference but i doubt it. Kind of sucks because now all my plans for upgrading it (mods, headers, etc) are out the window. Now i know why my truck is so slow.. kind of sucks

beef up your 5.2. Plenty of guys here have mods on there 5.2 and theyll agree its anything but slow.

Shouldnt be much of a difference. Tranny maybe? Front shocks for diff weight? prolly not. Basically the same ram. Sure minor differences, but still not that big of a difference.

If your talking about making some serious power..then yes it sux that you have the 5.2. When it comes down to it, you cant beat cubic inches. But if your doing bolt ons and such, vurtually no difference.
