I looked on the SC website and newest one they show is the 3815. When I type in 3817 "sorry could not find your selection" came up. All the testimonials were talking about the 3815 and was from guys with 3rd Gen Dodges. I thought the 3815 was the older model????????

I think I'm wrong. if there stilling selling the 15 it must be then newer one. Call super chips and get a price.

3715 is old, 3815 is in the middle, and now the 3865 is already being distributed. The new 3865 has minor "appearance" modifications (its smaller etc). The new 3865 still offers the same old tune the 3815 does as they are both internet updateable. Im ok with the 3815 since I tune it, and then the programmer sits... why do i need a new smaller one? Im sure there are going to be people selling the 3815 for the new one because they want the new one and might be a chance for others to pick one up on the cheap. Like I said, it is basically a redesigned programmer box, offering the same updateable tunes.

Thanks for the info PC. A heads up for those interested in the newer 3865 Summit has it for $40 cheaper than Jegs. $ 349 vs $379

As nice as it is to support the good companies, Ebay has them for CHEAP!
I found a 3815 new in box for $280. I love it

yeah i saw a few that were used and they were still trying to get damn near new prices for them. I don't know if a used one would work though.
