Mopar99, I have the same problem as you. My pressure remained steady all the time, then about 10,000 miles ago it started fluctuating with temp and rpm. Interested to hear solutions as this problem concerns me, too.
Anyone know how costly and difficult it is to change a pump???

oil pump when i replaced it through chrysler i think i paid about 140 to a 160 dollars for me at my dads cost and thats the good mopar brand but it was also for a 5.9L V8 and really easy to change drop oil pan its like three or four bolts and it drops out very easy installation
thanks my truck has only 98000 miles so im going to run some engine flush through the motor then im going to just replace the pump with a standard melling pump not the high volume one. i will let you know if that solves the problem.

a little more trouble than it should be.
here's a good article from pavement.
i replaced my oil pump and rear seal a couple of years ago.
the hardest part was getting the damn starter off.
it seems like you should be able to get the oil pan off w/o removing the inspection cover and starter, but i was unable to do so.
i did not have to drop the exhaust, nor raise the engine like haynes manual says.
