Default Vehicle History

I've had my truck about a month now, and even though I am good friends with the original owner (since long before he bought it) and he gave me all his service records, I see there are a number of service bulletins and recalls surrounding these trucks. Is there a way to get information on which TSBs and recalls have been performed on a particular vehicle? Can Dodge provide this info to a second owner? If there are any outstanding TSBs or recalls, can Dodge be required to address them on a 10 year old truck? Up until the warranty expired 2 years ago this truck has always been dealer serviced, but that dealer has since closed. Does Chrysler keep copies of these records?

I have both these items on my build sheet, as well, and neither I or the original owner can figure out what they really are.

Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center
regarding the 1999 Dodge Ram.

We appreciate the time and effort you took to write to us. In response
to your email regarding the recall information, we would like to inform
you that according to our records your vehicle is involved in the
following recall campaign.

Recall Campaign # 973 SECONDARY HOOD LATCH

Please contact your local authorized Dodge dealership to arrange for an
inspection and for the repairs. The recall services are performed free
of charge.

Thanks again for your email. We value you and your business.

I need to get on that recall. Countless times I have not shut the hood all the way because of my flimsy grille.
