Question Dash repair?????

i was just wondering if maybe somebody has done this....but take your old busted dash out and apply fiberglass to the underside of the whole dash and fill in the holes where its busted out completely....i know you won't have the texture print in it but hey you don't have holes in your dash either........just looking for thoughts on this thanks
