do a search on plenum gasket
and yes the trans do suck balls
and check all the TREs and ball joints/u joints, and wheel bearings

thanks a lot Ill check on all those things.
Here's an update on the tires. they fit... sort of. At full lock the tires rub on the body so I'm doing a body lift this weekend to fix the problem. other then that they seem to be fine, it totally add a new style to the truck. ill post pictures when the lift is done. I've never installed a body lift before. anyone have and suggestions on things to watch out for, any tips would be very much appreciated

it rubs on the body? thats kinda weird. im sure it will rub on the lower control arm, but it should steer clear of the body.

are you using a stock offset wheel? if you arent, that would explain the body rub.

I'm actually not sure what the offset it to tell you the truth. My tire guy said it is just because the tires are so wide
07-04-2009, 01:13 PM
how wide are they?
