Gas is about $400 a month for me.
Insurance damn close to $200 a month (full coverage)
Tax about $100 a year like Vaughan said.
So here about $600.83 a month here.
Gas as of this morning is $2.40 for 89 octane.

When the summer tourist season starts, it goes up many places here to. However, one of the main reasons why its expensive over there is because your governments tax it even more than ours.

About $150 here per month (full coverage) for insurance. Just over $200 when you tack on liability for my wife's Jeep.
Gas is about $150 a month, ball park.
$38.50 per year for license plate renewal/tax.

thats why i stayed on my parents insurance for a few years. every insurance company i called when i was 18 wanted 1200$ a year just for liability on my 89 thunderbird. it was only a couple years ago that i got on with USAA and now its less than half that for full coverage on the truck and liability on the camaro.

You guys got cheap gas. California is a bit more. I just filled up yesterday at a local Shell and it was $3.09/gal. Tags here are also more. They play games with our tags (vehicle tax) so that they don't really go down as much as you would think. They also tack on weight fees. I only have a 1500 and pay $80 in weight fees. I hate to see what 2500 and 3500 pay. So for license fees this year was $156 (including weight fees) and we just had a historic car tax increase. Next year my tags will be around $250 or $275 for a 13 year old vehicle. Insurance, I pay $200 a year just for my truck. That is the beauty of being a little older with no tickets or accidents.
