well i would be telling the person who bought it from me. i couldnt do that to someone else. i looked up stuff on kbb and it says that i could get between 4500 and 5500 if it were in great running condition and the market was good. but that also doesnt include all the stuff ive put into it.
Good for you. Not knowing what the engine problem is, you'll probably be stuck around $4k. If the problem is serious enough it could cost $2k or more to fix. How do you know you don't just have a sticking injector? I had that problem on my Cherokee and it was relatively cheap and easy to fix. I think it worthwhile to do some investigating. It could mean the difference between a low-ball offer and one that is closer to what it is worth.

with all you already have in it you ought to keep it and fix the missfire. especially since the problem is a huge reason why your selling it. i know a plugged cat can cause a missfire code, my sisters truck just got a new cat and it got rid of the missfire.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.
will a clogged cat throw a single cylinder code? or would it throw multiple? cuz to be honest, the sound comin from my flowmaster doesnt quite sound right. it sounds really bogged down and heavy. i also have absolutely no power. my 0-60 time used to be under 8 seconds easy. now id be lucky to do it in under 30 seconds.
