She doesn't take boats to the water, she takes them from the water. My buddy, the original owner, has a Mercruiser/Volvo-Penta shop in Van Nuys. Basically, he used the truck for picking boats up for service from the local marinas. I often did the pickups or would use the truck on weekends, so when he decided to sell it I couldn't let her go to some stranger. Now, she hauls my motocross bikes out to the desert for me on top of still picking up the occasional boat or taking an engine block to/from the rebuilders for my buddy's shop. She's overkill for what I use her for now, but I'm looking at getting a toyhauler. She'll be perfect for that.

Miami, could you take a few pics of how it mounts inside the engine bay, as well as how your fan shroud mounts to it? I'd like to see that. And if you could put a tape measure on it, even better.

The LA motor was the motor previous to this one. Almost exactly the same. The magnum motor is an oil thru the pushrod motor. The LA oiled the rockers a little differently. Both have pushrods, The LA were mostly Carbs, the Magnums are MPI

Yeah, that's quite a bit wider than the V8's. we have to pieces of shroud on both sides of the radiator that connects to the frame to funnel air to the rad and the fan shroud is much deeper. I can stand in the engine bay between the rad and engine now that I'm running electric fans. No way that's happening in your engine bay.
You're not going to find what you're after, because it's very rare and very expensive,
if you can find one, as likely it would have to be custom fabricated...
But radiators, who cares, either they can be fixed or used ones are like $50 bucks,
doesn't hardly take an hour or two to pull an old one and stick another one in.
You want cheap, I'm the king of cheap, you can drop 5 cheapo radiators in there for the cost of 1 full metal one
and chances are the first one you replace is your last, they do sometimes fail but not that often.
Seriously, it's like two hoses and two clamps with bolts / nuts, it comes right out.
Oh yeah, other than the shroud, that does get in the way a bit but it's not that bad.
Loosen the shroud first, then slide the radiator out from in between.

Stock radiators for the 1500 V8 are one-core aluminum. I bought a 2-core brass that's hanging on the back wall in my garage. I haven't decided if/when I will reinstall it.
