was wondering which is better for the 5.9 ,heard the H pipe is made for torque and x pipe is for horsepower ?? and is there a diffrence in the sound of the 2 ??

I would think it would be the other way around. An H pipe gives you true duals so I would think that would hurt your lower end. The cross pipe is just there to help even things out.

An H-pipe will equalize the pressure between the two, while the X-pipe is a scavenging type. When the exhaust gases from the left pipe hit the right, it sucks the exhaust out of the right and out the back, and vica versa. Usually only beneficial for vehicles operating in the mid to upper rpm range. That's an X-pipe. Makes a sweet unique sound, but an H is better for torque and overall usability in the majority of non track vehicles.

Not true duals if theres an H or an X pipe. True duals, are just that. Dual, with no connection to the other.
