Want to replace the front driver side wheel hub bearing on my 1995 4WD Dodge Ram 1500.
Bought the wheel hub bearing but am looking for info on the tools needed to replace it.
No clue on what kind of tools and sizes of these tools.
My husband is actually replacing it but he don't know much about car repairs either :S
We called a few places with no success.
Also, if any of you have any pointers on this kind of job, we would really appreciate any input and advice.
Thanks !!
Jean

With the lack of experience you mentioned, I would say you will definitely be needing a Haynes service manual.

this is not a job for a beginner w/o tools
you'll need an impact wrench, 1-11/16 socket, big pull bar.
if things go right, the big nut comes off and the bearing comes out of the knuckle, and you wonder what all the fuss was about.
if the damn bearing is rusted into the knuckle, then you'll beat, and bash, and cuss.
