Default ABS and Brake Lights On, Pulsing in Pedal

What the title says is pretty much what the problem is. The lights come on and go off every now and then, however more and more frequently as I drive it, and the brake pedal "pulses" like the ABS is engaging. It usually does this when I am slowing down and hitting bumps in the road. I've heard that it could be a sensor but none of those threads seemed to mention the pulsing. Please advise.

could be a number of things that could cause this

-frozen caliper slides
-fluid is boiling
-air pockets in lines,
-master cylinder
-frozen calipers

Just to be clear, do you have front wheel ABS?

Could be a bad ABS sensor tricking the ABS control into thinking a wheel is locking up.
May need to have the brake system scanned.

Damn, that sounds all bad. It has rear wheel ABS and I went to Autozone today and purchased an ABS sensor that I will be installing in a few minutes. God I hope that fixes it but your responses are not encouraging. Thanks for the advice though.

If you don't have front wheel ABS, then you don't need an ABS sensor. If I understand you correctly, you only have REAR WHEEL ABS?

May be more than one problem.
Pulsating may be warped rotor and the light the sensor on the rear end.

That is what the window sticker says, rear wheel anti lock. I replaced that sensor on the rear end and the problem seems to have gone away. No more lights and no more pulse in the pedal so hopefully that did the trick. Thanks guys.
