Someone posted on here a while back how to take the steering wheel apart to replace my clockspring. I went out, bought the part, now I can't find the directions. Can anyone point me to where to find them?

IIRC the thread was about replacing the clock spring, but it wasn't a DIY. Also, I don't think that OP ever came back with a solution to his problem. The thread kinda died off.

Oren good looking out for the guys. for the OP please and I stress this please make sure you disconnect your battery and drain the residual voltage from the system so that the air bag is disabled. If that airbag goes off and your head is in the way it WILL break your neck and you will be dead before you knew you had an accident.

Does anyone know where to get a clock ring for a 95 Ram? I see later years listed on the internet for around $50, but the dealer wants about $250 for the same part. These shoud be the same, shouldn't they? BTW. Mine has cruise control.
Thanks for your help
